Mariko Ide

Born in Japan and raised in Malaysia.

After graduating from university,
moved to New York to study documentary filmmaking.
Upon returning to Japan, she joined Cutters Tokyo.

Later, worked for five years as a story consultant and producer at Yahoo (now LINE Yahoo),
producing over 75 short documentaries.

Currently works as an offline editor, editing commercials, short films, TV shows, and movies across various genres.

In 2023, she edited the film "Dust to Dust," which was showcased at the Tribeca Festival and won The Human/Nature Award.
